NEW HALF TERM DAY VISIT:
You are warmly invited to a Family DAY VISIT at Magdalen Farm on Tuesday 27th May 2025, from 10am - 3pm.

If you are a family who has a child or young person with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) up to the age of 25 years and loves to get outdoors, this is for you!

The whole family will spend time out on the farm, in beautiful nature, being with farm animals and connecting with other like- minded families doing fun activities including a woodland adventure and pond dipping.

Experienced staff will make sure everyone is included and individual needs are met. A delicious lunch of jacket potatoes and a selection of fillings is provided with dietary needs being catered for.

Magdalen Farm is between Chard and Crewkerne, TA20 4PA. The day runs from 10am – 3pm and is part funded by the Lottery Community Fund. 📄Preparing for Adulthood Report

Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) are a partnership of people and organisations working to make health and social care more personalised.

TLAP launched a report earlier this week-
‘Preparing for adulthood: understanding rights and choices, planning and staying in control’ which explores how to improve support for young people who draw on care and support as they prepare for adulthood.

The report sets out practical recommendations that would help young people get the support they need to live well and stay in control as they become adults.

Co-produced with family, friend carers and members of the National Co-production Advisory Group, it is rooted in lived experience.

You can read the report and find out more about TLAP via this link-
