BCP Home to School Transport Consultation
BCP Council want parents, carers, children, young people and schools to help review two documents before they are finalised:
📝Draft Home to School Travel and Transport Policy for Children of Compulsory School Age
📝Draft Home to School Travel Policy Statement for Post-16 Learners
Home to school travel assistance could include:
🚲Independent travel- walking, cycling, wheeling or using public transport with a bus pass
💰A Personal Travel Budget- where families receive funding to arrange suitable travel
🚍Shared transport-such as a shared taxi or minibus
👦Individual specialist transport, where this is needed to meet assessed needs
