Parent Carers Together (PCT) is a friendly parent carer forum set up to represent the voices of Parent Carers of children and young people (0-25 years) with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP).

In 2023, not only did we celebrated our fourth birthday, having formed in April 2019 but we became an independent Community Interest Company (CIC) on our anniversary.

Parent Carers Togetheris a voluntary group of parents and carers of disabled children who are working together to make sure the services in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole local area meet the needs of children with SEND and their families.

We will do this by gathering the views of local families and then working in partnership with local authorities, education settings, health providers and other providers to highlight where local services, processes and commissioners are working well or challenge when changes or improvements need to be made.

The forum needs lots more parents to get involved.

We have dedicated steering group members who work together to develop the forum.

If you would like to volunteer some time or if you would just like to hear more about the work we do to improve outcomes for local families, we’d love to hear from you.
