Everyone struggles sometimes. Kids do too, even when they cannot explain what is wrong.

This simple and child friendly worksheet helps children, kids, and teens show what they need when they feel upset, angry, worried, or when they shut down. Instead of guessing or reacting to behaviour, adults can understand what actually helps the child feel safe, calm, and supported.

It supports emotional regulation, feelings awareness, and communication. It is especially helpful for kids with anxiety, autistic children, children with ADHD, sensory differences, or emotional and behavioural needs. It works well at home, in school, in social work sessions, or in therapeutic support.

A small tool that can make a big difference to children’s wellbeing and mental health.

Not all learning differences look the same.
Some affect reading. Some affect writing. Some affect numbers. Some affect movement.

What they all have in common is this:
these are brain differences — not effort problems, not motivation issues, and not a reflection of intelligence.

This visual gently compares dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and dyspraxia to help adults recognise what might be underneath a child’s struggles, and respond with understanding rather than pressure.

Save this for those moments when something feels harder than it “should” — and you want language that explains why.
