Parent Carers Together will be joined at our next coffee morning with Rochelle and Sarah from the Inclusion and Family Services at BCP Council.

If you would like to chat to them or Parent Carers Together, please pop by the Hub on the Heath anytime between 10am-12noon. Further details are on the poster.

23rd April-Local Offer Live Event, Citygate Church, Bournemouth

BCP Council have a Local Offer webpage dedicated to offering advice and information for BCP families whose children have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

The purpose of this live event was for parents and carers to meet organisations connected to the Local Offer in person, ask any questions and gather information relevant to them and their families.

We held three coffee mornings in March.

📌Tuesday 25th March- Hub on the Heath, Canford Heath

📌Wednesday 26th March-Arcado Lounge, 71 High Street, Christchurch, BH23 1AS

12th March-Parent Carers Together Family Pottery Painting Event at All Fired Up

This was an exclusive event for our members and their families to enjoy time out together.

26th February -PCT Coffee Morning at the Arcado Lounge, Christchurch

This coffee morning was hosted by our forum Chair Louise.

11th February -PCT Coffee Morning at The Delfino Lounge, Poole

This coffee morning was hosted by our lovely volunteer Abbie.

5th February -PCT Coffee Morning at All Fired Up, Bournemouth

Parents were invited to take the opportunity to unwind with an adult/s who understands their circumstances over a cuppa. The coffee morning gave an opportunity for people to seek support, share information and find out what services are available to them and their child.

Throughout January -PCT Coffee Mornings, various times

As a forum whose children all have SEND, we know how wonderful but tiring, isolating and challenging it can be for some parents and carers to be with their loved ones especially 24/7 over Christmas. Therefore, we held 3 coffee mornings throughout January.

Those coffee mornings were open to ALL BCP parents and carers of a child with SEND whether they have formal diagnosis or not.
